DISCOVER LIFE SHARING AT VERLAND CLA
Verland CLA is proud to introduce an exciting new program: Lifesharing.
This innovative, person-centered model offers individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to live in a supportive, family-style home within their community.
Lifesharing promotes independence, meaningful relationships, and a high quality of life by matching participants with compassionate provider families—known as Life Sharers—who welcome them into their households.

WHY BECOME A LIFE SHARER?
Life Sharers play a vital role in helping someone gain independence and thrive as part of a family. In return, they receive a stipend to help cover the cost of care. It’s a meaningful, mutually rewarding experience—a true win-win.
Verland bills for Lifesharing through the Office of Developmental Programs, just as we do for CLA and ATF services.

Support Our Mission
Verland was established through the love and compassion of its three founders and the generosity of one individual who was inspired to share her good fortune with others by donating the land on which Verland’s Ohio Township campus was built. Today, your support is needed to continue building community homes, expand the capacity of all facilities, and support our 230+ individuals with loving care.
